We start the month with the first Ace Race in the world for this year, on August 4th. This is the 10th Anniversary Ace Race, so we are expecting great things from Discraft this year. $35 will get you two prototype discs and other Discraft goodies. What goodies? Perth Disc Golf Open 2012 Date Change
The Perth Open has been rescheduled due to site availability and conflicts with other major sporting events. The Perth Open will now be held on the 10th-12th of August.

ADGTour 2012 TD Guide Available
Essential reading for all of those running ADGTour events this year, the ADGTour 2012 TD Guide is now available. Key changes for this year are as follows:
ADGTour 2012 PDGA Membership Requirement and Divisions
As of 2012, all ADGTour A-Tier events will require players registered in the Open and Advanced divisions to hold current PDGA memberships in order to enter and compete in the event. This decision has been made to ensure that, for players competing at these levels, there is a suitable mechanism by which to ensure placement of players into appropriate divisions for the fairness of the other players. This is an area on which ADG has received significant feedback from players requesting a definitive means of ensuring who should be in which division.
ADGTour 2012 Schedule
UPDATED: The ADGTour 2012 schedule has been finalised with the exception of the exact dates for the ADGC 2012 (although it will definitely be in November). Here are the dates for the events:
